Millésima Blog Awards 2018 winner

The year 2018 couldn’t have started in a better way for this little wine blog: two nominations for the Millésima Awards 2018.

They have just three categories so it’s wonderful to be nominated for both the Wine Reporter Award and the Wine Travel Award. For the Wine Reporter Award I submitted my article about the architecture of sherry bodegas. The other category features my recent visit to Bodegas Lustau.

Millésima is a fine wine merchant based in Bordeaux and New York, with an important focus on ‘en primeur’ wines. They started their Blog Awards in 2013 to honour the wine blogging community, and the competition is now split into two nomination zones (Europe / USA). There are only 3 finalists in each category, so 18 nominations in total. The winner in each category will go on a trip to Bordeaux during the En-Primeur Week in April.

Update 29/01/2018: yes! we won the Wine Travel Award for European wine blogs. Many thanks to all of you who voted for SherryNotes and thanks to Lustau for the great winery visit.
