Born Digital Wine Awards 2017 nomination

The Born Digital Wine Awards are the only international competition of wine writing, photo and video. They’re focussing on expressing the culture of wine across a range of languages. The 2017 edition was the most successful to date. Judges applauded the exceptional quality of this year’s entries.

Over 310 entries were submitted to the #BDWAbyWIM arriving from all corners of the globe. That includes Australia, China, India, Brazil, Canada, USA, France, UK, Italy, Germany, Finland, Spain, Greece, Switzerland, Portugal… and Belgium.

I’m happy to announce that my article on The architecture of bodegas in Jerez has been shortlisted in the category Best Investigative / Journalistic Wine Story (see the list of all finalists).

The idea behind the Born Digital Wine Awards (brought to you by Wine in Moderation) is to stimulate and promote quality wine content by creating awards with real value. The awards are decided by a panel of respected judges representing the diverse world of wine and publishing. The final results will be presented in an online video at the beginning of November. Winners of all categories will receive financial prizes of up to 500 euro. Moët Hennessy, sponsor of the Best Opinion / Editorial writing category, will also present the three winners with special prizes.
