Sherry Week 2017

Now in its fourth year, the International Sherry Week 2017 has been announced! It will take place from 6th – 12th November 2017.

The annual global celebration brings together thousands of sherry lovers around the world, with around 2000 events in more than 25 countries. The events showcase all kinds of sherry wines through public and private events in bars, restaurants, hotels, bodegas, universities, tabancos, and wine clubs. Expect special pairing menus, classes, tastings, cocktail workshops and other Sherry-themed events. Last year an estimated 100,000 people have been taking part.

Sherry Week

The Sherry Week is held under the auspices of the official governing body of Sherry wines, the Consejo Regulador Jerez-Xérès-Sherry and Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Event registrations are now open, so be sure to register yours! If you’re simply interested to join the party, you can return in a few weeks when events start to appear online.

Sherry Week Twitter Tasting

We’ll be hosting a fourth edition of the #SherryTT Twitter Tasting. The concept is still the same as previous years: five samples of excellent sherry wines, delivered to your door step for free. We’ll open them together while discussing over Twitter. We’re still working on that, but details are coming soon.
